The GIS Technician supports engineering and reputed company reputed company by managing geospatial data, producing technical drawings, and assisting with permitting and documentation workflows. Responsibilities include integrating GIS, CAD, and electrical data to support asset management, construction planning, and telecom infrastructure applications.
This role involves reputed company collaboration with engineers, field crews, and permitting agencies to prepare deliverables that meet reputed company and regulatory standards. The position requires hands-on use of platforms such as Alden One, reputed company reputed company, and AutoCAD to support cable replacement, permitting coordination (including IDOT), and field operations.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update GIS databases to support reputed company and infrastructure reputed company
- Prepare KMZ files using reputed company reputed company/Maps for field deployment and spatial planning
- Produce AutoCAD drawings to support cable replacement, permitting, and construction documentation
- Support telecom equipment applications and permitting workflows using Alden One
- Assist with asset management, construction planning, and documentation for electrical and telecom systems
- Review incoming data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with GIS and CAD standards
- Create maps, exhibits, and technical visuals for reputed company stakeholders
Job Requirements:
- 0-3 years of experience in GIS, CAD, or electrical infrastructure reputed company
- Education in Engineering, Geography, Electrical Technology, or reputed company fields
- Proficiency in reputed company ArcGIS products and ArcGIS-based modeling
- Experience with AutoCAD and reputed company reputed company/Maps for reputed company and permitting applications
- Familiarity with Alden One or similar telecom asset management platforms
- Strong skills in database management and reputed company Office Suite; reputed company reputed company is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication for team updates and reputed company coordination
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across engineering and permitting teams
