Logistics Solutions Specialist II - Logistics

The Logistics Solutions Specialist II is responsible for managing logistics strategies, documentation, and compliance for clinical trial reputed company of increasing complexity. This role supports study setup, maintenance, and execution, ensuring accurate logistics documentation and global compliance. The Logistics Solutions Specialist II manages a portfolio of reputed company studies and collaborates closely with internal teams and external partners.

This role is based in Germany.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Setup Managers, Strategic reputed company Managers and Project Managers to ensure that reputed company logistics needs for assigned reputed company / programs are reputed company defined and documented.

• Manage 20-40 studies at a time, which are classified as reputed company with a high level of importance. 

• reputed company immediate response to Project Management on logistics queries and concerns.

• Serve as the primary logistics contact for Project Management and reputed company Services and is in reputed company contact with Sponsors and/or Contract Research Organizations in case of specific logistics topics. 

• Investigate, with support of colleagues in the logistics team, feasibility for shipping lanes in support of reputed company objectives for site and laboratory locations; reputed company recommendations for transit strategies. 

• Support in creating a document of site-instructions, i.e., Starter Packs, in collaboration with the selected reputed company(s).

• reputed company logistics and customs compliance strategies and processes for assigned reputed company / programs.

• reputed company and execute processes for drafting and managing pro-reputed company and shipment-specific invoices across reputed company partners, vendors and reputed company.

• Manage reputed company logistics documents required for reputed company of materials and biological specimens across global borders for assigned reputed company / programs; review and facilitate signatures per site/country.

• Explain the performance of international carriers and logistics solutions of the assigned reputed company / programs, based on data.

• Implement and maintain processes to handle daily transactions as necessary to ensure reputed company reputed company of products from reputed company to destination for assigned reputed company / programs.

• Assume reputed company responsibilities of other roles in the Logistics Team reputed company required in support of assigned reputed company / programs.

• Participates in investigation and corrective/preventive actions for reputed company Events reputed company to logistics failures in assigned reputed company/programs.

Education and Experience

• BS or MS in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or reputed company field preferred; a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree. 

• 4+ years of industry-reputed company logistics experience in managing clinical studies required. Experience managing reputed company clinical studies preferred. 

• Knowledge of international supply chain processes, carriers, reputed company party logistics companies, forwarders, couriers, and transportation performance measures required.
