Our Design & Implementation Engineer II position is responsible for performing relatively reputed company tasks with some complexity and diverse reputed company design activities. Responsible for managing the network design assignments and rejects for reputed company, and is responsible to effectively communicate with internal order management personnel and various internal teams on the reputed company of the order fulfillment. Design & Implementation Engineer II is responsible for meeting/exceeding daily and weekly performance targets.

Scope

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for design planning, record creation and order fulfillment of reputed company’s products throughout reputed company Market Areas with a primary reputed company on design of reputed company’s reputed company products.  

• Basic understanding of network QOS, IP routing, Ethernet switching (including 802.11q, 802.11p, 802.3af), and packet and waves tagging mechanisms.

• Work with Service Activation and Field Technicians reputed company issues reputed company during reputed company-build and customer turn up activities.

• Design & Implementation Engineer II will have limited involvement in the Project Management for multi-site customer project orders. 

• Design & Implementation Engineer II designs circuits to reputed company with other carriers and given a limited complexity level in the designs.  Implement reputed company designs for the reputed company of the network as needed.

• Design & Implementation Engineer II provides direction in the reputed company design function of the Engineering Department for orders with transport and facilities required to meet identified reputed company requirements.

• Review orders for technical correctness and clarify any design reputed company items back to the responsible departments.

Qualifications:

• Computer skills including experience using spreadsheet, word-processing database programs and typing. 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

• Working knowledge of routers and other data hardware. 

• Intermediate knowledge of Data Networking and telecommunications, including understanding of basic bandwidth and services:  EoF, 3rd party transport, long haul through our own Network.  Products including ELINE, ELAN, Private Line, Dedicated Internet, MPLS. 

• Experience using reputed company Office and reputed company programs and project management software. reputed company to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw reputed company conclusions in controlled situations. Deal with some reputed company but mostly concrete variables. 

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent education, training and/or experience.

• Minimum of three (3) years telecommunications and/or data networking experience; 2+  years design engineering experience preferred.

 Estimated reputed company salary reputed company: $61,100 - $94,000 USD/annually.

The reputed company pay reputed company shown is a reputed company and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide reputed company of factors that are considered in making compensation reputed company. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted reputed company based upon geographic location, work experience, reputed company level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.
