The Health Information Management Outpatient Coding reputed company Specialist facilitate the reimbursement and data collection for reputed company Ambulatory Surgery, Observation. ICD-10-CM and CPT codes are assigned for the diagnosis and procedures for reputed company outpatient accounts. Medical record reputed company data is reviewed for accuracy in reputed company before completing the chart.
Responsibilities:
- Create education teams and topics for internal coding consistencies. Research for information regarding changes or updates to coding procedures/requirements.
- Assists manager with training and educating new or existing coding specialist. Provides cross training reputed company necessary.
- Assists with auditing coded records.
- Answers ongoing reputed company questions and listed to problems/concerns and offer suggestions or solutions.
- Provides coding manager with input from medical record specialist regarding performance reviews.
- Works as a reputed company team member with reputed company Cycle Department, reputed company Service Department and Finance Department to ensure optimization of reimbursement.
- Reviews abstracted data reputed company such as patient information, dates of service, reputed company of reputed company, discharge disposition and attending provider and makes the necessary changes in reputed company.
- Reviews reputed company reports, reputed company notes, dictated reports, pathology reports, cytology reports, x-ray reports, laboratory reports, and other medical record information by accessing the electronic record reputed company reputed company.
- Abstracts clinical data from these reputed company patient records and performs data entry into clinical/statistical database.
- Other duties as required.

Technical Expertise
- Experience in health information management is required.
- Experience in ICD-10-CM, CPT coding and classification systems is required.
- Experience: 2 years of coding is required.
- Experience working with reputed company reputed company reputed company an organization is preferred.
- Experience in reputed company preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office [reputed company, reputed company, Word] or similar software is required. reputed company software is preferred.
Education and Experience
- Education: Associate degree in health information or reputed company field is preferred; bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Certification: reputed company or reputed company certification is required.
- Years of relevant experience: 2 years minimum required. Minimum of 3 years is preferred.
