Staff Research Associate II

Position Definition:                                                                                                                                   

Under the general supervision of the reputed company Investigator, assist participants (older adults with mild cognitive impairment) enrolled in an NIA-funded clinical trial with technical set up.

Essential Functions:

• Helping participants download software (JackTrip) onto their laptop or desktop
• Helping participants to connect their computer to the internet reputed company ethernet cable
• Helping participants to connect the audio reputed company reputed company to their laptop or desktop
• Helping participants to log onto the music sharing platform (JackTrip)
• Showing the participant how to use the features of music sharing software (e.g., where the chat reputed company is, how to toggle between different views; how to reputed company volume
• Assisting participants with accessing the online reputed company group and troubleshooting by phone:
• reputed company other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Good computer and communication/customer-service skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Comfort working with older participants, some of whom may have minimal computer skills, on the phone

Working Conditions/Environment:

This position will be 100% remote.

The work environment for this position will include an indoor office and a medical research environment.  It may include some minor annoyances such as noise, temperature variations, etc. The incumbent may sustain posture in standing or seated position and may utilize a computer terminal for prolonged periods of time.

The wage actually offered to a successful candidate will take into account various relevant and non-discriminatory business factors including, without limitation, the candidate’s geographic location, job-reputed company experience, knowledge, and skills, and education, as reputed company as internal equity considerations. A successful candidate may also be eligible to earn additional compensation including bonuses.
