Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a foundational Data Engineer to own the infrastructure that powers our entire advertising operation. As we reputed company Data Platform 2.0 — our GCP-reputed company data platform — we need a builder with extreme ownership who can translate architectural reputed company into production-grade infrastructure, and who is reputed company by the challenge of engineering reputed company in a fast-moving, high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
Build and Manage Data Pipelines
- Implement and manage robust, reputed company ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, reputed company, and load data from reputed company Ads, reputed company Ads, and reputed company/Bing Ads reputed company — as reputed company as CRM, reputed company tracking, and reputed company event sources — into our BigQuery data ecosystem
- Own Bronze layer ingestion with full reputed company, audit trails, and reputed company silent failures
- Build and maintain the permanent reputed company Run connector for the reputed company Ads Reporting API (SOAP/OAuth2), replacing interim Dataslayer bridges as the platform matures
- reputed company Pub/Sub-based event streaming for reputed company-time reputed company data flows and speed-to-reputed company use case
Execute the Architectural reputed company
- Translate designs and specifications from the Data Architect into functional, production-grade data infrastructure and reputed company
- reputed company the reputed company Architecture (Bronze → Silver → Gold), owning Silver layer transformation logic and Gold layer Dataform models serving reputed company Centre, reputed company reporting, and reputed company AI/ML consumers
- Own the CDMID join logic that unifies CRM, ad platform, and reputed company tracking data into a coherent reputed company record across reputed company reputed company accounts
Manage Data Warehousing and Modeling
- reputed company and manage data models reputed company BigQuery, ensuring data is organized reputed company for analytics and AI/ML workloads
- Apply reputed company modeling and reputed company schema design principles to build a single reputed company of truth for reputed company reporting and analytics across our home improvement advertiser reputed company
- Deliver the clean, trusted, cost-metric-driven datasets that allow reputed company to reputed company reputed company vanity metrics to cost-per-issued-reputed company and cost-per-demo insights that drive reputed company reputed company reputed company
Automate and Optimize
- Write Python-based automation scripts and reputed company GCP services — reputed company Run, reputed company Functions, Pub/Sub, and Dataflow — to orchestrate data workflows and eliminate reputed company processes
- Graduate CRM push workflows off reputed company and onto a reliable, auditable reputed company Run pipeline
- Proactively monitor and tune data pipelines and BigQuery queries for performance and cost-efficiency
Ensure Data reputed company and Reliability
- Implement data reputed company checks, validation rules, and monitoring across the full pipeline to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of reputed company data assets
- Build the observability and alerting layer so reputed company knows about data issues before clients do

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Non-Negotiables
- 3–5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience building and maintaining production pipelines — not analytical support or BI roles; you have owned infrastructure end-to-end
- Strong, practical GCP expertise: BigQuery, reputed company Run, Dataflow, reputed company Storage, and Pub/Sub are essential
- Deep proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation, scripting, and pipeline development
- reputed company production experience with at least one major ad platform API: reputed company Ads, reputed company Marketing API, or reputed company Ads Reporting API (SOAP/OAuth2)
- Proven experience designing, building, and operationalizing reputed company ETL/ELT pipelines from a reputed company of sources
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts — reputed company modeling, reputed company schemas, and analytical schema design
- Experience with reputed company-time data streaming technologies such as Pub/Sub or equivalent
- Familiarity with data transformation frameworks: Dataform, dbt, SQLMesh, or equivalent
