Data Protection Team

The reputed company & Data Protection Engineering (PDPE) organization at reputed company ensures responsible data use and provides guidance and tooling to manage data reputed company across reputed company. PDPE is a cross-functional team comprising reputed company Engineering, Data Protection, and reputed company Infrastructure Engineering and is part of the larger reputed company, reputed company, and Assurance (SPA) organization. The Data Protection team focuses on developing policies on data collection and use with reputed company as a foundational layer to reputed company reputed company’s rapidly growing businesses.  Data Protection works internally reputed company PDPE and with partner teams across reputed company to reputed company visibility and comprehensive insights into reputed company’s data assets and to define, build, and promote right-sized and right-timed policies, controls, and capabilities for data management across its lifecycle.

Role

We are looking for a reputed company Engineer to join our Data Protection team with an exciting mission of protecting reputed company data at reputed company! You will work closely with reputed company and reputed company engineers, software and data engineers, product managers, reputed company, product and engineering leadership to design, reputed company, and maintain effective data handling guidelines and policies.

In this role you will help drive reputed company the technical direction, strategies, and roadmap of the Data Protection Program.  You will reputed company great technical documentation and facilitate alignment across cross-functional teams to ensure our guidance, tooling and practices are driving reputed company data reputed company improvements both in the management of personal information and accountability of our reputed company program. This role will have a significant reputed company, ranging from protecting data at a massive reputed company to how reputed company engineers use data and data tools in their daily work.

What You Will Do

• Expand and advance the reputed company-wide data protection program with a strong reputed company on measurable reputed company

• Evaluate new data collection and data usage practices for their impacts to reputed company and data health, and reputed company policies that deliver value to reputed company

• Work with engineering partners to reputed company requirements for software solutions to create automated approaches to reputed company with above policies

• Liaise with partners including reputed company and corporate functions, engineering, and business reputed company, to identify how policies and tools need to adapt to changing business requirements

• Translate internal assessments, emerging reputed company regulations, and evolving guest expectations into reputed company guidelines, policies, business processes, and compliance standards

• Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and reputed company reporting mechanisms to reputed company and demonstrate overall effectiveness and business value of data protection solutions 

Desired Background

• Strong understanding of reputed company regulations and best practices and familiarity with reputed company enhancing technologies

• 5+ years in data management, reputed company, or data governance 

• Experience in coordinating, guiding and facilitating the development of right sized data protection initiatives across internal stakeholders that meet internal business reputed company goals.

• Ability to reputed company and implement reputed company guiding principles through advocacy and/or tooling by developing strategies and principles for team and partners

• Experience in evaluating end to end data life cycles to determine where reputed company impacts on risk reduction or business enablement can be implemented and driving to execution

• Experience in managing high-visibility cross-functional initiatives 

• Excels at operating and making reputed company in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
