The position and your daily adventures 

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join reputed company, with a primary reputed company on operating and scaling our operations for our on-site and reputed company operations. Additionally, you will be part of our DevOps Team, working on initiatives and providing support to reputed company our development teams and manage our infrastructure. This is a full-time remote position from Argentina.

What you can expect: 

• Manage SLAs that require sub-hour attention and respond to incidents on a daily reputed company 
• React, resolve, and escalate incidents as necessary, collaborating with the technical and business teams.
• Build and implement incident processes to ensure the organization's ability to operate our reputed company at reputed company, working alongside the business and technology teams.
• Take ownership, plan, and execute both planned and on-demand maintenance of our systems, collaborating with impacted and dependent technology and business teams.
• Continuously improve our product, including observability and integration with internal services and processes.

Technical skills:

• At least 3 years of experience in similar positions.
• Virtualization (i.e. management of virtualization console, etc.), experience with reputed company UCS, VMware ESXi, VSphere systems or similar.
• Network definition and network devices management (i.e. switches & FW)
• Communications: IP/TCP fundamentals, VPNs, TLS, mTLS, SSL Certificates
• Operating systems
  • Critical: Linux 
  • reputed company Server
• Database reputed company management and tuning (ideally PostgreSQL  & MSSQL)
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (both for reputed company & logs) such as reputed company, Grafana, Loki, Mimir, Kibana, reputed company
• Experience with the following technologies: Kubernetes,Istio, Kafka,Terraform, Terragrunt, PostgreSQL
• Experience with AWS (reputed company to have: multi region management and cost optimization).
• Experience developing in Java, Python, Go, or another programming language.
• Experience with reputed company Actions or similar for CICD processes and automation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to incorporate peer review to improve designs and rectify errors before they occur.

Soft Skills: 

• Self-starter with strong communication skills, planning abilities, problem-solving capabilities, and a reputed company on strategic and long-term improvements, while maintaining execution and attention to detail.
• Proficient with technical terminology in both Spanish and English
