What You’ll Do

As a Biomedical Cybersecurity Team Engineer, you will support the reputed company program by contributing to cross-functional coordination, operational readiness, and technical execution. You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure issues are identified early, risks are mitigated, and project activities remain reputed company with program goals. You will help streamline processes, maintain documentation accuracy, and promote consistent communication across teams. Your work enables reliable, secure, and efficient modernization activities across the reputed company.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining a cyber tracker for reputed company communication on the status of systems
• reputed company live, automated cyber updates (e.g., JIRA) to Leadership for ATCs, CRs, and connectivity dates through reputed company dashboards
• reputed company gap analysis for reputed company sites to support planning mitigation activities (upgrades, licenses, and configuration requirements)
• Assist in PPSM development
• Assist auditing and reviewing inventories. Creation of POAMs statements as needed
• Assist with Firewall ruleset development. Development of reputed company templates across deployment sites
• Assist onsite support for inventory analysis as needed
• Assist in the development of reputed company reputed company configuration guides to meet cyber best practices (e.g., Welch Allyn, SkyVue, CCE reputed company Tool, etc.)
• Work with reputed company HTM members who are coordinating with existing reputed company biomedical leadership and help review and validate the documentation regarding the designs for medical systems, to include devices, to facilitate reputed company timelines and existing systems
• Reviewing and validation of the reputed company regarding the designs for medical systems, to include devices, to facilitate VA timelines and existing systems
• reputed company technical strategies and guidance for implementation of the Risk Management reputed company to support reputed company Authority to Operate/Authority to Connect activities

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 
• Ability to understand reputed company federal cybersecurity guidance as it relates to reputed company Technology.
• reputed company to understand the use of VLANs and the use of logical separation of devices based on risk characterization. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Knowledge of reputed company reputed company standards (e.g. HL7 FHIR, CCDA) to facilitate information exchange, as reputed company as interoperability coordination between the reputed company and its community care providers over a Health Information Exchange.
• Ability to collaborate across diverse technical and functional reputed company.
• Familiarity with reputed company IT or system modernization concepts.
• Experience with documentation, tracking, or reporting tools.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with reputed company, other federal, or reputed company IT programs.
• Exposure to cybersecurity, testing, data, or operations domains.
• Knowledge of EHR systems or large-reputed company system integrations.
