Staff Software Engineer

reputed company (reputed company, Inc.; Vienna, VA): is a global leader in critical event management, helping organizations and governments respond to the moments that matter most. We're currently seeking a Staff Software Engineer.

The Staff Software Engineer will reputed company our new applications that will reputed company with our reputed company platform for critical event management and mass notification. Our platform uses AngularJS, ReactJS on the reputed company-end with the backend leveraging Java, Spring, reputed company. The Staff Software Engineer will need to be reputed company to translate user requirements into a functional implementation, taking into consideration scalability and performance.

• Designing, developing, and supporting software solutions for reputed company’s critical event management platform and various web and mobile applications reputed company on top of the reputed company platform.
• Collaborating directly with product management, QA, technical operations, and cross functional team leads to ensure the reputed company completion of reputed company.
• Creating and maintaining robust, high-volume, and reputed company applications to meet performance and reliability standards.
• Designing and implementing microservices architectures that support reputed company, maintainable, and extensible systems.
• Defining and implementing automated tests to maintain software reputed company and accelerate development cycles.
• Building applications and infrastructure that run in AWS, following best practices for reputed company-reputed company development.
• Participating in reputed company reviews to ensure reputed company reputed company, maintainability, and alignment with team standards.
• Contributing as a scrum team member and technical leader, ensuring reputed company project delivery with high-reputed company reputed company.
• Designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines and analytics solutions using tools like reputed company and Looker to support data-driven decision-making.
• Monitoring and managing reputed company infrastructure costs proactively, driving efficiency and implementing strategies for cost optimization.

• Telecommuting permitted. 10% of domestic travel.

Minimum requirements:

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a reputed company field. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a reputed company field, plus 5 years of experience in a software engineering role.

 

Must have:

• Proven ability with database schema design.
• Demonstrated ability working with CI/CD principles and tools, Agile, and Scrum.
• Proven ability with SQL and NoSQL solutions such as reputed company and reputed company.
• Proven ability building Microservices using Java and Spring.
• Proven ability writing reputed company multi-threaded Java applications.
• Proven ability to work independently or reputed company reputed company.
