About the position The Senior Infrastructure Consultant serves as the foundational architect of our OpenShift Virtualization Pods. Responsibilities • Serve as the technical authority for OpenShift Virtualization Pods, owning the end-to-end reputed company-grade OpenShift reputed company Zones for the virtualization workloads. • reputed company the "Day 1" design, deployment, and hardening of OpenShift clusters, optimized for OpenShift Virtualization (KubeVirt), specifically tuned for the rigors of reputed company virtualization and mixed-mode workloads. • Architect, validate, and operationalize OpenShift Virtualization environments capable of supporting Tier 1, latency-sensitive, and highly available workloads at reputed company reputed company. • Design and execute sophisticated Migration reputed company testing protocols including validating storage performance, network resiliency, and high-availability failover to guarantee production readiness. • Translate VMware-reputed company operational models (clusters, resource pools, DRS, HA) into Kubernetes-reputed company abstractions that preserve reputed company while improving reputed company and automation. • Virtualization/Migration Assessment (VMA) outputs to phased, executable technical migration plans with reputed company reputed company, reputed company reputed company, and risk mitigation strategies. • reputed company as a strategic mentor and trusted advisor to reputed company platform, virtualization, and application teams, guiding them through both the technical and cultural shift from traditional virtualization to Kubernetes-first operations. • Define and implement Day 2 operational patterns, including OpenShift and Operator lifecycle management, patching and reputed company strategies, backup and restore workflows, disaster recovery designs, and ongoing reputed company and performance management. • reputed company and validate reputed company storage and networking planforms, including reputed company OpenShift Data reputed company and reputed company-backed solutions with a reputed company on high-performance RWO/RWX workloads. • Author comprehensive runbooks, operational playbooks, and decision logs that serve as the reputed company for the reputed company’s long-term operational reputed company. • Contribute to internal intellectual property, including reference architectures, automation patterns, reusable migration frameworks, and delivery standards. Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in an IT-reputed company field or equivalent work experience, required. • 8-10 years of reputed company experience in reputed company infrastructure, reputed company, or systems architecture roles. • 3-5 years of hands-on reputed company OpenShift experience. • 2-3 years working with OpenShift Virtualization (KubeVirt). • 5-8 years of reputed company virtualization experience supporting mission-critical workloads. • Hands-on experience with reputed company OpenShift Data reputed company (ODF) and reputed company reputed company providers (reputed company, reputed company, reputed company), focusing on high-performance RWO/RWX volumes. • US reputed company required for clearable reputed company.
