As a Full Stack Custom Circuits Design Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in our SOC design effort, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, low-power chips that power our cutting-edge products. You'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from designing custom circuits to optimizing chip power efficiency, and will be responsible for driving circuit process to achieve the highest design quality metrics. **Key Responsibilities** * Foster custom circuits to improve chip power efficiency * Work with power group, PD, and designers to define requirements and specifications * Perform design, analysis, modeling/reproduction, circuit-level determination, schematic capture, spice simulation/edge analysis across PVT, measurement planning, practical verification, and silicon validation * Collaborate closely with the design team to complete the design and ensure design quality * Create and drive circuit process to achieve the highest design quality metrics **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field * At least 3 years of relevant industry experience in custom circuit design * Strong understanding of deep submicron device physics, leakage mechanisms, and technology interactions with device behavior * Profound knowledge of device noise sources (1/f, thermal), external noise sources (supply, jitter), and their impact on high-accuracy circuits * Ability to lead investigations during silicon debug, manufacturing, and analyzing data; and use scripting to support effective treatment of ATE data * Familiarity with opposing message check and behavior models for opposing message blocks * Proficiency in scripting languages (Python/Perl or others) and computer-aided design automation tools * Knowledge of industry-standard circuit and design tools **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in designing low-voltage/low-power custom circuits * Experience in one or more of the following areas: AI accelerators, SRAM circuits, non-volatile memories, weak/strong inversion circuits, super-low power amplifiers, DC/DC converters, analog on-chip sensors, fast timing, time-to-digital converters (TDCs) * Strong understanding of circuit-level design, device physics, and technology interactions * Experience with design automation tools, such as Cadence, Synopsys, or Mentor Graphics * Familiarity with industry-standard design languages, such as Verilog or VHDL **Skills and Competencies** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and collaboration skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines * Proficiency in scripting languages and computer-aided design automation tools * Strong understanding of circuit-level design, device physics, and technology interactions **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
