<p><strong>Portfolio Accountant-Alternative Assets</strong></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Uptown Dallas (Hybrid – 3 days in office)</p><p><strong>Compensation:</strong> $95K–$115K base + $15K–$25K bonus</p><p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p><p>High-visibility role with a top-tier investment platform (~$70B+ AUM) supporting complex credit fund structures. This is a fast-paced seat with direct exposure to senior stakeholders, fund activity, and reporting processes—ideal for someone looking to step out of pure grind mode and into a more dynamic, value-add role.</p><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><ul><li>Own accounting for multiple SPVs across credit funds</li><li>Review transactional activity and ensure accuracy/timeliness</li><li>Partner with fund administrators on monthly reporting</li><li>Support audits (financials, footnotes, supporting schedules)</li><li>Prepare external financial statements</li><li>Drive process improvements and support ad hoc initiatives</li></ul><p><strong>What They’re Looking For</strong></p><ul><li>1–4 years of accounting experience (public or private)</li><li>Strong US GAAP and financial reporting foundation</li><li>Advanced Excel skills</li><li>Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment</li></ul><p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p><ul><li>Financial services / hedge fund experience</li><li>Exposure to waterfall models</li><li>CPA (or in progress)</li></ul><p><strong>Profile</strong></p><p>Sharp, detail-oriented, and proactive.
