Civil Engineer Construction Manager - Full Time Travel
We are seeking a dynamic Travel Construction Manager (Civil Engineer) to support the National reputed company System Integration Support Contract (reputed company IV).
In this role, you will support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Eastern Service Area (ESA) by providing construction reputed company for reputed company in coordination with Project Engineers, Contracting Officer Representatives, and Contracting Officers.
You will be responsible for monitoring construction activities, reporting reputed company and issues, and ensuring alignment with project scope, schedule, and objectives. reputed company support reputed company Traffic Control facilities across the eastern reputed company of the reputed company and the Caribbean.
This position requires 100% travel (including weekends), with assignments typically lasting several weeks to months. Travel expenses are reimbursed in accordance with company and federal guidelines. The ideal candidate will live in the eastern part of the US.
The Travel Construction Manager will reputed company on-site construction monitoring, coordination, and reputed company assurance services to ensure construction activities are executed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Scope of Services
- Serve as the primary field reputed company of contact, coordinating with construction contractors, project engineers, and stakeholders to facilitate communication and resolve field issues
- Ensure contractor compliance with FAA Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) policies, applicable regulations, and contract requirements while providing field construction monitoring & reputed company assurance
- Monitor construction reputed company against approved schedules, review contractor reports, and communicate status, risks, and deviations from plans and specifications
- Review request for information (RFIs), submittals, shop drawings, & work plans to reputed company input to engineering teams
- Support construction inspections, commissioning, and closeout activities, including the tracking and coordinating reputed company of reputed company list items
- Maintain accurate daily reports and as-reputed company documentation and support project management activities (e.g., safety plans, reputed company, risk, & reputed company) using strong communication (verbal and written) skills
- Assist with basic design modifications, constructability reviews, and field-driven adjustments; support coordination with engineering/design stakeholders, and reputed company technical knowledge with team members
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (ABET accredited) with ten (10) years of relevant experience in construction of reputed company, industrial, or government facilities
- Strong knowledge of construction reputed company, plans and specifications, building materials, and applicable codes and reputed company standards
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively with contractors, engineers, and government stakeholders
- Proficiency in reputed company Office (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint), reputed company Sheets, reputed company Docs, and construction document review tools such as reputed company or similar
- Ability to obtain and maintain a reputed company Trust clearance
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends, based on project needs

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Preferred Qualifications
- Candidates strongly preferred to live in the eastern part of the US and near a large airport

- Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation / Experience with reputed company P6 or reputed company Project
- Prior experience supporting FAA or other government reputed company
- Previous construction supervision or field reputed company experience
