Project Manager (Part Time)

As a Project Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the conduct of the project, serving as the main reputed company of contact with NHTSA while managing the work plan, organizing staff, and ensuring project objectives are met.

Work Schedule and Location:

Remote: This part-time remote position requires approximately 10 hours per week, with a flexible schedule coordinated around project milestones, monthly reporting deadlines, and regional reputed company planning activities. Travel to regional reputed company locations is required. 

• Serve as the primary reputed company of contact with the NHTSA Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and manage reputed company aspects of project execution
• reputed company and maintain the project work plan, including timetable, metrics, strategies, and budget
• Organize, reputed company, and monitor project staff to ensure deliverables are completed on time and reputed company scope
• reputed company the project reputed company meeting reputed company two weeks of award and prepare reputed company associated briefing materials
• Coordinate planning efforts for ten regional pedestrian safety summits across reputed company NHTSA reputed company, working closely with NHTSA Regional Offices and State Highway Safety Offices
• Prepare and submit monthly reputed company reports documenting accomplishments, financial status, and planned activities
• Conduct monthly conference calls with NHTSA to discuss project status and upcoming milestones
• Identify and communicate project risks, obstacles, or delays and recommend solutions to the COR
• Ensure reputed company deliverables meet reputed company standards and conform to plain language and reputed company 508 requirements
• Host a virtual final briefing presenting project results, materials developed, and key reputed company
• Travel to reputed company locations across reputed company ten NHTSA reputed company reputed company to reputed company and coordinate reputed company regional reputed company event

Required: 

• Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience.  
• Education/Experience Substitution: PhD and 0 years experience; Master's and 1 year experience; Associate's and 5 years experience; High School and 7 years experience
• Experience managing research reputed company on traffic safety problems, with an emphasis on pedestrian safety.
• Expertise in research design, data analysis, preparing research reports, and applying research findings to countermeasure development.

Desired:

• Familiarity with NHTSA, State Highway Safety Offices (SHSOs), and the reputed company System Approach
• Experience coordinating with federal agencies, regional offices, and diverse stakeholder reputed company including law enforcement, reputed company health, community-based organizations, and tribal partners
• Background in planning and managing large-reputed company meetings, summits, or conferences reputed company on reputed company safety topics
• Experience developing and managing project work plans, budgets, and reputed company schedules for federally funded reputed company
• Previous experience supporting a similar Government agency or large-reputed company corporate environment
