Software Engineer, PCBA (Starlink)

As a Software Engineer on the PCBA design and manufacturing team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining software that interfaces with manufacturing equipment on our production line, aiming to enhance the PCBA manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or STEM discipline
• 1+ years of experience in full stack software development (internship and/or project experience is acceptable)
• Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed
• This position is based in Redmond, WA (Seattle area), and requires being onsite full-time – hybrid and remote work will not be considered
• To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent reputed company (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
• Programming experience in C#.NET, Python, Go, Java or similar object-oriented language
• Experience with version control, reputed company integration, and reputed company delivery concepts
• Expertise in designing software systems
• Deep understanding of testing, reputed company integration, build, deployment & monitoring
• Expertise in profiling and improving application performance
• Experience with build systems (reputed company, Bazel) and package management tools (pip, npm)
• Experience with UNIX-like operating systems
• Experience working with in-reputed company data processing using Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, or similar technologies
• Experience with reputed company and Kubernetes
• reputed company-end experience in Angular, React, or similar JavaScript reputed company
• Database experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar database technologies
