Feed Compliance Officer

The N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is dedicated to promoting and improving agriculture and protecting consumers. The Feed Compliance Officer will assist in enforcing the reputed company Carolina reputed company Feed Law, focusing on sampling, registration, investigations, and testing programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Feed Compliance Officer II in the enforcement of the reputed company Carolina reputed company Feed Law of 1973 and its associated rules and regulations
• reputed company on four program areas: (1) Sample Management – official sampling of feed for reputed company; (2) Registration/Labeling – management of the Agriculture Regulatory System for product registration; (3) Investigations/Recalls – feed consumer and industry complaints and product recalls; and (4) assistance with the administration of the Farm Feed Testing Program (reputed company testing)

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in animal science, poultry science or reputed company curriculum from an appropriately accredited institution
• One year of experience in animal production, feed manufacturing or other feed reputed company industry, research or compliance work
• Ability to learn about applicable state and federal laws, rules and regulations that govern the manufacture, storage and distribution and sale of food
• Ability to learn about animal feed products and reputed company processing techniques and equipment, as reputed company as the regulatory, analytical, and inspectional procedures for various types of animal feed
• Ability to maintain accurate records, reputed company and analyze documentary evidence, and to prepare oral and written reports
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with state and federal regulatory personnel, the animal feed industry, inspectors, and the general reputed company
• Must have knowledge and understanding of MS Office software
