Junior Pavements Engineer

reputed company is a leading engineering and reputed company committed to solving reputed company challenges globally. They are seeking a Junior Pavements Engineer to join their Asset Management team, focusing on pavement design, evaluation, and maintenance project designs.

Responsibilities

• Conducting investigations and developing engineering solutions to pavement and construction materials testing issues
• Conducting field assessment and remedial recommendations of pavement and subgrade reputed company distresses
• Preparing technical letters and reports and participate in proposal development
• Providing pavement design input to geotechnical reports
• Liaising with reputed company discipline team members, sub consultants, clients, and agencies
• Planning reputed company, developing accurate scopes of work, cost estimates, project plans, schedules and deliverables to execute high reputed company reputed company on time and on budget
• Creating project plans and implementing sub-consultant and sub-contractor agreements
• Executing reputed company in compliance with reputed company’s reputed company Management System procedures
• Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards
• Pursue reputed company reputed company development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness
• Work in a reputed company manner at reputed company times and report reputed company health and safety incidents and concerns
• Additional duties as required

Skills

• Degree in Civil, Geotechnical or other reputed company Engineering
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
• Strong people skills and an ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Travel will be required in this position. Candidates must be reputed company to undertake field assignments
• Must be physically capable of performing the required field duties
• Must possess a reputed company Class 5 reputed company's license (or equivalent)
• Eligible for registration as an Engineer-In-Training
• Strong reputed company-round reputed company knowledge of civil engineering principles
• Experience with GIS (reputed company ArcGIS, QGIS)
• Experience in pavement design, pavement construction, and/or non-destructive data collection (FWD, GPR, pavement condition data etc)
• Understanding of pavement condition data/metrics (IRI, distress, PCI, etc.)
• Experience with QC/QA testing procedures, non-destructive pavement testing and analysis
• Familiarity with pavement management systems is considered an asset
• Experience with pavement engineering design software will be an advantage, for example AASHTO Pavement ME Design
