Entry-Level Interior Designer

ZGF Architects is seeking an Entry-Level Interior Designer to join their team in Washington D.C. The role involves producing design drawings and working collaboratively under the supervision of experienced professionals in various project opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Produce design drawings, presentation drawings, graphic design work, and digital and physical modeling in support of Architecture, Urban Design, and Interior Design, as well as marketing efforts
• Work under close supervision and receive instruction and mentoring regarding tasks and management
• Perform rudimentary interior design assignments and work collaboratively with others toward design solutions

Skills

• Creative curiosity is required
• Architectural ability in the design of buildings and site
• Basic understanding of architectural design, interior design, and construction principles
• Applicants ought to have a professional Architecture or Interior Design degree
• 0-4 years of related experience
• Professional experience is beneficial but not required
• Previous experience with the production of design documentation would be valuable
• Revit and Enscape proficiency preferred, but not required
• Good communication and graphic skills along with physical and digital modeling and rendering ability is desired
