[Remote] Marketing and Communications Coordinator
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America is seeking a Marketing and Communications Coordinator for their Trusted Choice program. The role involves leading communication initiatives, collaborating with team members, and supporting marketing strategies to enhance member engagement and resource promotion.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the Marketing Director in delivering on the member marketing strategy and leading communications by crafting a detailed communications and content calendar, including social media posts, email, newsletters, magazine ads, website sliders, website updates and other promotions
- Collaborate with internal staff and state staff as needed
- Manage the member facing blog and coordinate with outside writers, internal writers and managing blog posting and content calendar
- Assist with development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Conduct one-on-one member consultations as needed to support member resource utilization
- Support PR efforts where needed, including coordinating agents, etc
- Collaborate with creative staff to develop graphics, documents and video content to grow reach, awareness and conversion
- Contribute creative thinking and ideas in a collaborative team setting
- Write compelling sales copy for website, e-brochures, email campaigns, and product advertisements
- Lead management of key programs including the Digital Performance Hub report requests and future programs as they launch
- Ability to explain and promote resources by directly engaging with state staff and members via phone, webinar, exhibiting, presentations, etc
- Support analytics and measurement of marketing activities that include but are not limited to website traffic, email, blog and social promotions
- Support administration of state grant program and Dan Fulwider award
- Report at weekly and monthly meetings to team and other stakeholders
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- B.S/B.A in Marketing, Communications or related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of current events, industry news and trends to effectively conceptualize thoughtful campaigns/ideas
- Experience with email marketing, campaign tracking, copywriting, social media marketing
- Strong initiative with the ability to self-manage and organize daily tasks and long-term planning
- Highly organized, with the ability to leverage project management tools for planning and tracking with experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail is essential

- Work in a team environment
- Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and project management skills
- Experience with email marketing, trade association and/or insurance agency operations a plus
