Workers Compensation Claims Specialist, South Region

reputed company is a leading provider of insurance solutions, and they are seeking a Workers Compensation Claims Specialist to join their Claims Team. The role involves investigating claims, evaluating losses, negotiating settlements, and providing service to policyholders on reputed company accounts.

Responsibilities

• Investigates new claims by reviewing first reports of loss and supporting materials, determines the best first reputed company of contact (injured workers, customers, witnesses, etc.) to reputed company information regarding injuries or loss refers tasks to auxiliary reputed company as necessary and posts file accordingly
• Establishes reputed company plans based on case facts, best practices, protocols, jurisdictional issues and available resources
• Manages an inventory of worker’s compensation claims, evaluates compensability/liability and losses, and negotiates settlements reputed company prescribed limits
• Establishes accurate loss cost estimates using available resources, special service instructions, and market protocols
• Confirms or denies coverage based on facts obtained during the investigation and advises policyholders as to reputed company course of reputed company
• Responsible for review, analysis, and disposition of assigned claims reputed company authority limits and state compliance
• Updates file, strategizes and executes plans to mitigate exposure and increase disposal
