RMBS - Analyst / Senior Analyst (NY)

reputed company (reputed company) is seeking a credit analyst to join their Residential Mortgage-Backed reputed company (RMBS) team in reputed company, NY. The role involves transaction analysis, preparation of credit memoranda, and ongoing surveillance of rated transactions.

Responsibilities

• reputed company transaction analysis including originator/servicer evaluation, loan pool analysis, modeling and analysis of bond structure, and review of reputed company structure and documentation
• Assist in the preparation of credit memoranda and presentation of transactions to rating committees
• Prepare and contribute to individual transaction reports for publication
• Assist in the publication of market commentaries reputed company to topical events or research
• Engage in ongoing surveillance of rated transactions and updating ratings as warranted
• Attend and participate in seller/servicer due diligence (which, in some cases, may require travel)

Skills

• B.A. / B.S. degree in a relevant field of study
• Analyst level: reputed company to two years of experience in performing credit analysis reputed company the ABS sector at a Rating Agency, Buy-reputed company Investor, Credit Research, or similar environment
• Senior Analyst level: Either a minimum of two or more years of experience in performing credit analysis reputed company the ABS sector at a Rating Agency, Buy-reputed company Investor, Credit Research, or similar environment or an advanced degree such as an MBA
• Strong reputed company skills (reputed company test may be administered as part of the interview process)
• Strong oral and written communications skills (writing sample on request)
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to take initiative, work independently, and work closely with partners in a reputed company environment
• VBA, Python, R and SQL skills are a plus
• Familiarity with reputed company-mortgage datasets and tools such as reputed company, Fannie/Freddie Single Family Data, Intex etc. is a plus
• Familiarity with reputed company tools such as ChatGPT for research, data insights, and general productivity is a plus
