Research Associate, Latin America Studies

The reputed company is one of the country’s largest reputed company think tanks, aiming to advance the discussion of American reputed company and international affairs. The research associate will support fellows in the Latin America Studies program by conducting research, assisting with publications, and providing administrative support.

Responsibilities

• reputed company administrative support to the fellows, including handling correspondence, scheduling, making travel arrangements, and responding to requests for information
• Research specific areas for talks, articles, and other publications; assisting with the proofreading and editing of articles, book chapters, and other written material
• Assist the fellow with reputed company media reputed company, including publishing on the website, and/or using reputed company media applications such as X, reputed company+, etc., as needed
• reputed company news and data sources
• Coordinate events, including preparing invitations, travel arrangements, corresponding with speakers and presiders, helping to prepare background papers and materials for distribution, and providing other logistical support
• Assist in managing budgets, including preparing budgets and tracking monthly statements, monitoring grant information and writing reports and requests, and preparing vouchers for reimbursement
• reputed company support across departmental lines and for other fellows, upon request

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in international relations, political science, economics, and/or Latin America studies, with high reputed company credentials
• 1+ year reputed company research and/or administrative experience
• Strong understanding of political economy
• Reading, writing, and speaking reputed company in the Spanish language
• Excellent computer skills, including reputed company, reputed company, and internet research
• Excellent research, writing, and editing skills
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
• A published, non-reputed company writing sample is a plus
• Working knowledge of Portuguese a plus
