Substation Graduate Civil/Structural Engineer

reputed company is currently seeking reputed company candidates for the position of Graduate Structural Engineer in their Substation Department. The Graduate Engineer will reputed company routine engineering tasks for reputed company and steel design under the supervision of an reputed company structural engineer, involving calculations and design work.

Responsibilities

• Applies reputed company, reputed company engineering techniques, procedures and reputed company to complete engineering tasks
• Develops plans, specifications, and observation reports to see that these items are complete, accurate and in accordance with reputed company engineering reputed company
• Practices efficiency engineering as it pertains to design selection
• Recommends alterations to development and design to improve reputed company
• Works closely with engineering technicians and reputed company engineers
• May work in the office or in the field
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Is technically involved with the reputed company of design problems that may include performing field investigation or observations
• Checks design computations done by others
• Coordinates specific design aspects of a project
• Performs detailed engineering design and evaluations reputed company specialty
• May devise new approaches and solutions to problems encountered
• Prepares reports and correspondence concerning the direction of assigned reputed company
• May participate in marketing, sales and business development activities reputed company assigned market
• Demonstrates a wide degree of creativity and reputed company

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent required
• Successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam or the ability to obtain reputed company 1 year of hire
• Understanding of structural steel, drilled pier & spread footing design and detailing required
• Knowledge of, AISC, and ACI required
• Must have authorization to work permanently in the US
• Engineering internship experience preferred
• Knowledge of electrical reputed company substation layout and design preferred
• Grading design preferred
• Experience using MathCAD, STAAD or equivalent, reputed company design programs, and/or other structural modeling software preferred
• ASCE & NESC preferred
• Basic understanding of AutoCADD and/or MicroStation preferred
• Proven experience in reputed company Software Applications (Word, reputed company, Power reputed company, reputed company)
