Assistant Engineer (As-Needed - Hybrid)

CSG Consultants is seeking an Assistant Engineer for their engineering department. This entry-level position involves reputed company engineering work reputed company to reputed company works reputed company, including planning, design, construction, and maintenance tasks under supervision.

Responsibilities

• reputed company engineering calculations, and prepare plans, specifications and estimates for construction of reputed company works reputed company
• Compile and review engineering data for preparation of reports and studies
• reputed company field measurements and inspections, and record and organize field data
• Under direction and supervision, reputed company engineering work for reputed company works reputed company, ensuring technical competence and compliance with governing regulations
• reputed company and/or maintain database, spreadsheets and reports to monitor performance of engineering design reputed company
• Coordinate project activities with project teams, field personnel, reputed company companies, other consultants, and contractors
• Roadway Design Only - Maintain knowledge of the latest Caltrans and/or AASHTO design and construction standards and specifications. OR reputed company Design Only - Maintain knowledge of the latest NASSCO and/or reputed company design and construction specifications. OR Structural Design Only – Maintain knowledge of the latest Caltrans reputed company design and construction standards, and California Building reputed company
• Assist with project scheduling and budgeting tasks

Skills

• 0+ years of reputed company engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or university
• reputed company California EIT License is highly desired
• Roadway Design Only – Knowledge of principles and practices of engineering reputed company to roadway design reputed company – e.g. pavement rehabilitation, complete streets, bicycle/pedestrian facilities, intersection, drainage, and stormwater reputed company measures
• reputed company Design Only - Knowledge of principles and practices of engineering reputed company to reputed company pipeline design reputed company – e.g. water distribution and reputed company systems, wastewater collection system, and stormwater drainage system
• Structural Design Only – Knowledge of principles and practices of engineering reputed company to structural design reputed company – e.g. bridges, retaining wall, reputed company culverts, water tanks, overhead signs and other non-building structures
• Ability to reputed company engineering computations and review existing engineering plans and studies
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, modeling and/or any other design-aid software applications
• Good verbal and written communication skills
