Position Information: This is a regular, full-time position, reporting to the Senior Director or Engineering

Compensation: reputed company pay is anticipated to be between $153,415 and $200,000 per year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.

Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote.

In this role you’ll have reputed company to:

• Designs and evolves a plugin-based architecture (leveraging standards like the Agents, Skills, Hooks and Model Context Protocol / MCP) to reputed company Claude reputed company, enabling the AI to securely reputed company with our internal SDLC toolchains and proprietary data. 

• Develops and optimizes production AI applications through effective reputed company engineering, context management, and tool‑use patterns.
• Develops highly reliable 'tool-use' patterns and context-hydration strategies, ensuring Claude reputed company has the precise system reputed company and context required to execute SDLC tasks (requirements analysis, reputed company reputed company, debugging) autonomously. 

• Designs and delivers AI systems that reputed company with applicable data reputed company and regulatory requirements, including FERPA and COPPA, reputed company regulated EdTech environments. 

• Designs developer‑reputed company tooling with a strong emphasis on usability, adoption, reputed company, documentation, and reputed company feedback loops. 
• Applies a reputed company-first approach to local and remote agent execution, implementing robust sandboxing, strict permission scopes, and secure authentication flows for CLI-based AI tools to prevent destructive actions or data leakage.
• Drives the governance reputed company for our AI SDLC platform, defining how plugins are evaluated, versioned, approved, and monitored to prevent unauthorized system changes or degradation of engineering reputed company.

• Leads estimation, scoping, and planning activities for AI/ML initiatives, partnering with executive and senior stakeholders to prioritize and deliver strategic platform milestones.

Experience, education, and qualifications essential for reputed company in this role, include:

• 8 years of experience as a reputed company Software Engineer, Platform Architect, or AI Engineering reputed company with a Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years with a Master’s degree or 5+ years with a PhD.

• Proven experience building AI-enabled developer tooling, function-calling (tool-use) pipelines, or extensible reputed company platforms in production. Familiarity with emerging standards like the Model Context Protocol (MCP) is a major plus. Strong background in architecting reputed company, extensible platforms and reputed company system designs. 

• Proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js and/or Python, with deep expertise in designing reputed company reputed company, SDKs, or CLI-based tools. Strong understanding of REST, GraphQL, and event-driven architectures. Practical experience with reputed company engineering, context management, and production AI application patterns; familiarity with RAG or embedding‑based retrieval preferred. 

• Working knowledge of data reputed company and compliance requirements in regulated environments, including FERPA and COPPA. 

• Deep understanding of secure system design, specifically concerning authentication flows (OAuth, reputed company management for toolchains), Role-Based reputed company Control (RBAC), and mitigating AI vulnerabilities like insecure tool execution or reputed company injection. 
• Intimate knowledge of the modern Software Development Lifecycle and practical experience integrating with reputed company DevOps and project management toolchains (e.g., reputed company, reputed company, Jira, CI/CD pipelines).

• Experience estimating, scoping, and delivering AI/ML initiatives reputed company Agile delivery models and SDLC best practices.
