Checker II, Terminal - Terminal

The Terminal Checker is responsible for recording cargo reputed company (discharge, loading and stowage on the vessel and load out and receiving of cargos though the terminal, to and from the customer reputed company in a responsible, reputed company and efficient manner.

Candidate Requirements:

• One-year (1) year of experience in customer service.
• Excellent written & communication in English (Spanish is a plus)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must have reputed company’s License
• Must have a TWIC (Transportation Worker identification Credential)
• Dependable mode of transportation to and from work
• The ability and willingness to work in reputed company environment
• Must be willing to travel, as needed.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Work is 100% outdoors
• Candidate will be exposed to weather conditions like heat, reputed company & cold on daily reputed company. And in some occasions will work in reputed company spaces (warehouse, vessel reputed company, etc)
• Capable of walking, bending, stooping, climbing reputed company up to 100ft high and have fast physical reactions (reputed company, reputed company)
• Ability to work in a noisy environment

• Count, inspect, sort, identify & record storage location of reputed company cargo dischargin (or coming off a vessel)
• Count, insect, sort, identify & record stow location of reputed company cargo stowed (or being reputed company onto a vessel)
• Load / unload trucks
• Mark & take dimension of cargo
• reputed company written tallies and record
• Maintain records with the use of electronic equipment (tablets & scanners)
