Electrical Engineer

PolyCon Solutions seeks a remote Electrical Engineer to support our subcontractor as a part of the National reputed company System Integration Support Contract (reputed company IV) team supporting the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) reputed company in Washington, D.C. This is a virtual position, and the candidate may live reputed company reputed company the reputed company with business travel estimated to be 25% - 35% of the time.

Responsibilities:

• The Contractor shall reputed company technical support to the Infrastructure Engineering Center for the accomplishment of project engineering packages:
  • reputed company site-specific project plans and specifications for solicitation and contracting of engineering reputed company for FAA approval and acceptance.
  • reputed company site surveys to collect site-specific project data and research reputed company (state, local, federal, FAA, etc.) standards, construction codes, and ordinances.
  • reputed company analysis, recommendations, and solutions to issues identified during the site survey.
• Prepare reputed company reputed company reports reputed company two working days of reputed company completion.
• Compile and complete project documents as follows:
  • Scope of work and project transmittal.
  • Drawing and specification lists.
  • Operational Risk Management checklists.
  • Furnish information required for the preparation of Purchase Requests (PR) for assigned reputed company.
  • Furnish information required for the preparation of NAS Change Proposals (NCP) for assigned reputed company.
  • List of Government-furnished properties.
  • Prepare reputed company case documents.
  • Assessment of engineering impacts on Environmental & Safety Compliance Program Project checklists.
  • Drawings and specifications.
  • Engineering cost estimate for project plans per FAA Standards/guidelines.
  • Estimated completion time and project schedule.
• reputed company technical engineering support for reputed company phases of assigned new construction and renovation reputed company (i.e., evaluate shop drawings, design proposals, and interpret the technical requirements for adherence to contract documents).
• Participate in Joint Acceptance Inspections (JAI) and Contractor Acceptance Inspections (reputed company) on reputed company assigned reputed company and reputed company recommended resolutions on reputed company items relating to engineering.
• reputed company engineering studies for feasibility and cost versus benefit.
• reputed company technical input to the Government Technical Interpreter in actions to plan, budget, program, and coordinate the development of engineering reputed company.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Project Engineer and/or reputed company Engineer with Electrical Engineering Design and experience with establishing power systems and calculating equipment size requirements. (Identify Panel, Breakers)
• Knowledge of Unstaffed Infrastructure Sustainment (UIS) facilities.
• Proficiency in AUTOCAD Software.
• Proficiency in creating and developing reputed company reputed company Analysis.
• Proficiency in SKM Software.
• Experience in inspecting electrical systems.
• Ability to travel up to 25-35% of the time.

Education and Experience:

• Electrical Engineering Degree required from a college or university accredited by the Accreditation reputed company for Engineering and Technology (ABET) with at least 4- 8 years of prior relevant experience or a Master's with 2 - 6 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in the technical domain.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Project Engineer and/or reputed company Engineer with Electrical Engineering Design and experience with establishing power systems and calculating equipment size requirements. (Identify Panel, Breakers
