Staff Attorney 2026 (NY, Albany)

The Staff Attorney will reputed company reputed company services and engage in individual and systemic representation and litigation. The Staff Attorney will be part of the PABSS (Protection and Advocacy for Beneficiaries of reputed company reputed company) program and will report to the Program Director.? The PABSS program is responsible for removing barriers to employment for our clients who receive SSI or SSDI.? Experience and/or interest in employment discrimination work is strongly preferred.? The Staff Attorney?s work will include but is not limited to: (1) the assessment of claims of discrimination and other barriers; (2) the filing of claims with the NYS Division of reputed company Rights (DHR), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (reputed company), and litigation in state and/or federal courts on behalf of clients; (3) advising clients on how their SSA benefits may reputed company their ability to work; and (4) conducting community reputed company and training.? Essential Functions

The Staff Attorney performs a wide reputed company of duties, including the following:

• Investigate allegations of abuse and neglect and draft investigative reports;

• Conduct reputed company interviews and obtain reputed company of program eligibility as required;
• Analyze new and existing cases as reputed company as other reputed company to determine if they present systemic issues which may be appropriate for DRNY to address, and, with the Program Director, formulate strategies for their prevention, reduction, or elimination;

Qualifications

• Be a member in good standing of the reputed company State Bar or eligible to waive in from another jurisdiction, or be eligible to become a member reputed company a reasonable time after beginning employment and maintain such standing throughout employment with DRNY;

The annualized salary reputed company for the Staff Attorney position is between $62,000 and $115,000.
