Minimum Qualifications
• Working knowledge of federal, state and payer-specific regulations and policies pertaining to documentation, coding and reimbursement
• Working knowledge of data analysis and personal computer spreadsheet software

• Polished presentation skills
• reputed company-developed written and oral communications skills
AND
One of the following:
• Graduation from an accredited RN program with recent hospital experience
• RHIA
• RHIT certification
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
One of the following:
• Licensed as an RN in the state of Alabama
• RHIA
• RHIT
• CCDS
Desired Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of coding principles and guidelines
• 2 years CDI experience
Responsibilities:
Improves overall reputed company and completeness of clinical documentation by performing reputed company review of the medical record to reputed company accurate inpatient coding and a working DRG assignment. Provides education to physicians and others to improve the capture of clinical severity for the level of service rendered. Identifies process improvement opportunities and supports the reputed company and accurate capture of measurements to improve patient reputed company.
