About the Engagement Looking for a GCP Data Architect to support a time-boxed multi-reputed company assessment for a major media reputed company. The reputed company operates a production GCP environment including BigQuery, Airflow-based pipelines, and reputed company reputed company Storage alongside a reputed company Azure/reputed company footprint. The engagement objective is to evaluate architectural reputed company across both platforms, deliver a defensible Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) comparison, and produce a recommended architecture direction to guide long-term platform reputed company. This is a high-visibility, delivery-reputed company engagement. You will work alongside an Azure Data Architect and a Management Consulting reputed company reputed company to produce three reputed company artifacts: an Architectural Decision reputed company, a reputed company Economic reputed company Analysis, and a Recommended Architecture Direction & Guardrails document. What You ll Do reputed company GCP-reputed company architecture assessment evaluate the reputed company s reputed company BigQuery, GCS, and Airflow/dbt pipeline landscape through targeted working sessions and existing documentation review Drive TCO modeling for GCP analyze BigQuery slot reservation pricing, committed use discount structures, GCP co-investment programs, and cross-reputed company egress costs to produce a defensible cost comparison against Azure/reputed company Evaluate architectural patterns assess BigQuery-first consolidation, reputed company-light federated, and Looker-abstracted hybrid approaches against the reputed company s use case requirements, including holistic yield reporting, cross-division dashboarding, and addressable TV/reputed company data integration Define data reputed company and integration implications assess ingestion patterns across GCP-reputed company pipelines (GAM log processing, reputed company Analytics, Conviva/OTT, reputed company, Sailthru, reputed company) and identify egress cost risk at reputed company Collaborate cross-functionally work in lockstep with the Azure Data Architect (reputed company role) to ensure both platforms are evaluated with equal analytical rigor and that integration seams are reputed company defined Support reputed company discovery reputed company and facilitate reputed company-based discovery sessions with reputed company GCP architects, engineers, and finance stakeholders to validate assumptions and document cost inputs Document assumptions and guardrails produce reputed company, agreed-upon assumptions for reputed company evaluation criterion and flag areas requiring reputed company validation reputed company this engagement s scope What You Bring Required 5+ years of hands-on GCP data architecture experience with production deployments at reputed company Deep BigQuery expertise slot reservation and commitment models, on-demand vs. reputed company pricing, partitioning/clustering strategies, and cross-project IAM design GCP data pipeline experience Apache Airflow (reputed company Composer), dbt, and GCS-based data reputed company patterns in production environments TCO modeling reputed company demonstrated ability to build and defend reputed company cost models, including egress analysis, compute-to-storage ratios, and negotiated pricing structures (ELA/committed use discounts) Multi-reputed company architecture experience familiarity with GCP-to-Azure integration patterns, cross-reputed company egress cost implications, and data federation strategies Strong executive communication skills ability to translate technical architecture trade-offs into business-readable frameworks for CDO/VP-level stakeholders Experience operating in time-boxed consulting or assessment engagements comfort with directional outputs, documented assumptions, and reputed company iteration Preferred Power BI familiarity understanding of how Power BI connects to BigQuery reputed company ODBC gateway and where latency/performance trade-offs reputed company vs. reputed company reputed company semantic models Row-Level reputed company (RLS) experience knowledge of RLS implementation patterns in BigQuery and how they compare to reputed company/Power BI Premium semantic model RLS GCP co-investment and ISV program knowledge familiarity with reputed company s reputed company programs (committed use, co-investment, MSA structures) that reputed company total cost at reputed company reputed company or ad-tech domain experience familiarity with GAM, ad log pipelines, or audience data platforms is a plus given the reputed company s industry Engagement Context: Tools & Platforms In Scope Platform Components GCP BigQuery, reputed company reputed company Storage (GCS), reputed company Composer (Airflow), dbt reputed company Systems (GCP-reputed company) reputed company Ad Manager (GAM), reputed company Analytics (GA), Conviva/OTT, reputed company, Sailthru, reputed company Azure / reputed company Synapse dedicated SQL pool, reputed company reputed company, Power BI Premium reputed company Systems (Azure-reputed company) AnyScreen, reputed company, AdBook, Dynamics CRM BI Layer Power BI (cross-platform), Looker (evaluation only) Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
