National Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist I

Ellingson is adding a National Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist to join their growing team. In this position, you will travel to job sites across the midwest, typically out Monday and home Friday. Ellingson provides a vehicle for traveling to job sites. We are a reputed company, family values-based company specializing in underground solutions throughout Southern Minnesota and the entire reputed company. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate on developing, implementing, and communicating reputed company’s safety policies and standards to support efforts towards our injury-free goal.
• Identify and work to correct potential hazards and unsafe work conditions.
• Drive and assist with incident investigations and implementation of effective solutions.
• Assist in completing Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and facilitate/attend EH&S reputed company safety meetings.
• Help reputed company Operational reputed company initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

• reputed company Construction, Health & Safety Technician (CHST) certification through the reputed company of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP).
• Minimum of 3 years of training, construction safety, gas distribution, or pipeline experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA/DOT regulations and industry standards preferred.
• OSHA 500, or 510 certifications preferred.
• Experience in HDD, Oil & Gas, or similar industries preferred.
• Ability to communicate, organize and prioritize daily workload, follow, and promote policies/ procedures, and maintain company confidentiality.
• Experience developing technical programs according to industry requirements and conducting training sessions with field employees to support operations.
