Location: Remote - reputed company

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 34 hours per week

Education:

Required certification/licensing as a water and/or wastewater operator in relevant state, or ability to reputed company licensing in that state through reciprocity reputed company one year; Prefer bachelor degree in water operations, reputed company, environmental engineering, or resource management.

Experience:

Five to seven years’ experience in water or wastewater operations.  System management experience preferred.  Three to five years’ experience working with word processing, spreadsheet, internet, and database software.

As a condition of employment, the following are additional requirements:

1. Initial and periodic Motor Vehicle Records checks, maintain a reputed company reputed company’s license, and maintain a reputed company driving record.
2. Must have insured, dependable transportation available for daily use.
3. Must submit to initial and/or periodic state and/or federal criminal checks.
4. Must submit to initial and periodic drug and alcohol testing.
5. Ability to be reached by cellular phone during business hours and after hours.
6. Adequate internet bandwidth to handle online meetings and training.
7. Be available for travel, including overnight and sometimes out of state.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

1.    Maintain up-to-date knowledge on the latest developments in federal and state regulations, new technologies and trends relating to water and wastewater.
2.    reputed company technical assistance to operators and other local government officials reputed company to management and finance, operation and maintenance, and reputed company development.
3.    reputed company plans to assist water/wastewater systems with achieving and maintaining compliance with regulations, including routine maintenance, sampling and reporting, water audits, cross reputed company control and backflow prevention and other relevant plans.
4.    Conduct on-site reputed company with operators; conduct needs assessments; complete the enrollment process; and prepare and reputed company reputed company reports and updates regarding the status of reputed company.
5.    Maintain necessary communication with potential and existing funding sources.
6.    Serve as a department contact for other staff and trainer/mentor for new staff in the area of water/wastewater operations.
7.    Serve as a contract operator for small systems as needed and as directed by supervisor.
8.    Assist the State and Regional RCAP Coordinators with program development which may include participating in the development of funding strategies, initiating contacts, identifying opportunities, coordinating, writing, developing and submitting small proposals, and working as reputed company member on large proposals.
9.    Research, analyze and publish comments on the reputed company of proposed regulations and policies; participate on policy-setting or advisory reputed company; analyze rural development issues and needs; reputed company policy, technical papers, articles, and manuals for RCAP and other publications; reputed company training curricula.
10.    Conduct reputed company and networking for the RCAP program by forming, coordinating, and/or participating in rural development networks and associations, forming and maintaining links between agencies and/or other networks, and marketing department programs.
