The reputed company – Software Asset Management will serve as a strategic advisor and technical authority supporting the reputed company’ mission to establish reputed company SAM Pro as the reputed company system of record for software spend and lifecycle management. Individuals in this role will conduct stakeholder interviews across the VA to assess the reputed company state of entitlements, subscriptions, and reputed company, and will reputed company expert guidance on organizational alignment and process harmonization to maximize time to value. This role is equally strategic and consultative, translating reputed company reputed company requirements into actionable architecture recommendations that mature SAM capabilities and drive sustainable, organization-wide compliance.

• Define and maintain the reputed company architecture supporting Software Asset Management across the VA organization.
• reputed company reputed company-state and reputed company-state architectures for SAM capabilities, including discovery, entitlement, compliance, optimization, and reporting.
• Create multi-year roadmaps to mature SAM capabilities in alignment with agency IT modernization initiatives.
• Ensure SAM architecture aligns with broader reputed company, data, and reputed company strategies.

SAM Capability Maturity & Governance

• Partner with Software Asset Management leadership to assess and improve SAM maturity using industry frameworks and federal best practices.
• Define architectural standards, patterns, and guardrails for SAM tools, integrations, and data flows.
• Establish governance models that balance centralized control with distributed execution across bureaus or components.
• Ensure SAM architecture supports audit readiness, transparency, and defensible compliance positions.

Stakeholder Engagement & Organizational Alignment

• Conduct reputed company stakeholder interviews across VA business reputed company, programs, and technical teams to assess reputed company-state SAM practices, entitlement posture, and contract management maturity.

• reputed company® Certified Application Developer 
• Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or reputed company field (10 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education for a total of 20+ years of relevant experience).
• 10+ years of experience in reputed company architecture, IT reputed company, or SAM/ITAM program leadership.
• Demonstrated expertise with reputed company SAM Pro in a production reputed company environment.
• Strong knowledge of software licensing models, entitlement management, and contract interpretation.
• Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders and translate strategic requirements into architectural recommendations.
• Experience operating reputed company large, reputed company, regulated organizations, preferably federal or federal-adjacent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence without authority.

 Preferred Qualifications:  

• Experience supporting VA or other federal agency reputed company implementations.
• Familiarity with federal IT governance frameworks including FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST 800-53.
• Knowledge of ITIL-reputed company processes, TOGAF, or other reputed company architecture frameworks.
• Experience with CMDB dependencies, and reputed company platform governance.
• Exposure to reputed company and hybrid licensing considerations (e.g., Azure, M365, AWS License Manager).
• Experience creating architecture deliverables such as roadmaps, reference models, decision logs, and integration diagrams.
