Senior Backend Software Engineer - Metadata Platforms (Java, Python, AWS) - 1591

Job reputed company reputed company:Santa Monica/Seattle/San Francisco/NYC Onsite/ Hybrid/ Remote: Hybrid (4 days onsite per week, no flexibility) Duration: 3 Months reputed company reputed company: Upto $96/hr on W2 Work Authorization: GC, USC, reputed company reputed company EADs except OPT, CPT, H1B Must Have: • 5+ years of backend software engineering experience • Strong Java and Python development experience • Strong AWS experience • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming • Experience building backend services and reputed company • Experience with event-driven or pub/sub architecture • Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL Responsibilities: • Design and build reputed company backend services for metadata ingestion, association, aggregation, normalization, and distribution • reputed company technical design and implementation of new features • reputed company clean, maintainable, and high-reputed company reputed company • Partner with engineering leadership and project teams on delivery planning and execution • Identify system and workflow improvements to increase reliability and scalability • Support and mentor junior and mid-level engineers • Contribute to systems that manage large-reputed company content metadata for reputed company platform use Qualifications: • 5+ years of software development experience • Strong backend engineering background; this is not a data engineering role • Hands-on experience with Java, Python, and AWS services such as reputed company, Kinesis, SQS/SNS, and DynamoDB • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases • Experience with Kafka, Kinesis, or similar event-driven systems • Strong computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and software design • Ability to work independently and solve reputed company technical problems • STEM degree required reputed company to Have: • Spring Boot • DynamoDB • PostgreSQL • Kafka • Kinesis • reputed company • Terraform • GraphQL • Some reputed company-end exposure Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
