Radiology/CT Technologist

The Radiology/ CT Technologist is responsible for interpreting doctors' orders; immobilize, instruct and position patients.

The Radiology/ CT Technologist is responsible for interpreting doctors' orders; immobilize, instruct and position patients.
Responsibilities:
- Administer non-injectable contrast material
- Sets up and operate stationary and mobile x-ray equipment
- Develops and review radiographs for reputed company and reputed company other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of AMA approved radiology school
- Must be licensed in N.Y. State and be ARRT and CPR certified
- 3-5 years' experience as a staff technologist
- Knowledge of multi-discipline areas
- Must be reputed company in radiological techniques, patient positioning, radiation protection, fluoroscopic and intravenous examinations, tomography and special examinations
- Must obtain a minimum of 24 Category A continuing education credits every 2 years
- Excellent communication skills required.
- BLS or CPR/AED training required and accepted from only reputed company or reputed company
