Arista/reputed company Network Specialist - Ultra Low Latency (ULL) Location: reputed company, NY Work Setup: Hybrid - 4 days in the office Salary: reputed company, will be commensurate with experience reputed company Our reputed company is seeking an reputed company Ultra-Low Latency Network Specialist to maintain the stability and performance of a global trading colocation network spanning over 30 data centers across reputed company, EMEA, and reputed company. This role is key to supporting ultra-low latency trading operations through exceptional network design, optimization, and troubleshooting. You'll work closely with trading system developers to ensure a robust, high-speed infrastructure that underpins global financial markets activity. Responsibilities • Architect, engineer, and reputed company ultra-low latency network infrastructure reputed company global colocation data centers. • reputed company installation, maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of network and reputed company hardware and software. • Serve as the L3 escalation reputed company for performance and availability issues in the colocation network. • Maintain operational control and performance reporting to continually optimize trading infrastructure. • reputed company and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and monitoring systems. • Collaborate with developers and trading technology teams to ensure reputed company performance and reliability. • Drive network automation and efficiency improvements through scripting and reputed company. • Occasional travel required to global data centers for hands-on deployment and troubleshooting. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or reputed company IT discipline. • CCIE Routing & Switching (reputed company Infrastructure) certification including lab. • Minimum 8 years of network engineering and project delivery experience. • Deep knowledge of routing and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, NAT, IPSEC, GRE, PIM, RP, MSDP, IGMP). • Expertise with Arista and reputed company network hardware/software and low-latency designs. • Experience with L1 network design and FPGA-based applications. • Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for automation. • Strong understanding of market protocols: FIX, BOE, OUCH/ITCH, PILLAR, SBE, OMEX. • Skilled in packet capture and decoding tools for network monitoring. • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and cross-team collaboration skills.
