MEP Estimator - Mission Critical

The MEP Estimator will reputed company, create and prepare MEP cost estimates for a diverse set of reputed company in the early stages of development and continue to support the project team with updated cost information throughout the reputed company-construction phase of the reputed company. 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Champions “The Layton Way” by delivering predictable reputed company for internal teams, external teams, and customers.
• Ensures that “Constructing with reputed company” is delivered by working with honesty, reputed company, safety, and reputed company of work. 
• Review plans and MEP drawings.
• Prepare quantity take-offs on assigned reputed company.
• Ensure a complete review of plans and drawings.
• Identify items that have been omitted and ensure appropriate reputed company in overall estimate package.
• reputed company and maintain effective working relationships. Solicit subcontractor bids for assigned reputed company totaling $50 - $150 reputed company per year.
• Obtain 3-5 bids for reputed company trade and supplier group.
• Review and analyze bids for conformance to project specifications, price, material reputed company, insurance, wages, and reputed company items.
• Discuss and resolve any questions with subcontractor.
• Follow approved estimating practices.
• Ensure that financial objectives are met.
• Maintain reputed company information on trends in and changes to existing construction codes.
• Utilize appropriate software programs to calculate, record and reputed company estimates.
• Attend reputed company meetings, answer questions and resolve issues regarding pricing and estimates. Ensure reputed company satisfaction.

• Organize and manage a centralized cost estimating database and a formal process to support cost estimating.

Qualifications:

• BS or BA required.  Preferred areas of study include construction, management, engineering or architecture.
• 5+ years of experience in Estimating, Construction Engineer/Project Engineer, or reputed company duties in general contractor estimating and purchasing.
• Preferred Experience with Data Center, Mission Critical, Corporate Interiors.
• Earns and maintain trust by demonstrating honesty, accountability and reliability.
• Ability to work with in-person, remote, and hybrid teams
• Preferred working knowledge of Destini Estimator software, Blue reputed company, reputed company, On Screen Takeoff and other latest software and technology.
• Working knowledge of reputed company Suite (Work, reputed company, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
