Digital Marketing Coordinator
SUMMARY - Van Wagner College is seeking a creative professional with graphic design skills and marketing knowledge to support the Senior Vice President of Marketing.
OVERALL PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - The primary functions of the position, which may be modified from time to time, would include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Bring a fresh creative approach while working on a variety of projects
- Conceptual development and a creative execution of business presentations and sales pitches in InDesign
- Manage and enhance the division’s social media presence to increase industry visibility
- Execute and maintain a year-long social media content calendar
- Development and creation of monthly division-wide e-newsletters
- Creation of graphics to enhance social media channels, promotional materials, expo brochures, promotional signage, custom invitations/save-the-dates, business cards, etc.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail to assist in planning, researching, and organizing various social and business events
- Provide hands-on support at various events and/or conferences throughout the year (some travel required).
- Provide support, as needed, for the implementation and fulfillment of select national/regional sponsor accounts
- Liaise with internal teams and properties to handle various sponsorship fulfilment items on behalf of client. Responsibilities may include activation planning, coordination of hospitality/tickets, production/signage, sweepstakes oversight, promotions.
- Track and monitor industry trends and preparing reports on a year-round basis
- Create templates and consolidate marketing information into an organized structure to form a regional/divisional database
- Assist with the on-boarding of new partnerships by updating division-wide creative, partnership announcements, generating proposal deck templates, social media graphics, etc
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline
- Strong knowledge in all Adobe Creative Suite software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). Portfolio for reference a plus.
- Proficiency in all MS Office software
- Proficient with navigating and working within social media platforms
- Proficiency in email marketing programs (MailChimp, Constant Contact, etc.), Canva and Video Editing Platform
- Coachable, quick learner, with exceptional attention to detail
- Talent for creativity and problem-solving
- Ability to multi-task and work in a face paced environment
- Ability to think strategically and implement a proactive approach

Annual Base Salary Range is $50,000 - $60,000
The actual compensation amount will consider a range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, and location.
