Nurse Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Assessment Content Writer (Remote)
WriteRN is seeking 15–20 experienced Nurse Subject Matter Experts to join a high-volume, multi-month project developing assessment items for a major nursing publisher. We are looking for specialists across all clinical areas (PICU, Med-Surg, OB, Behavioral Health, etc.) to draft high-quality, practice-focused questions.
The Project:
• Scale: Total project volume of 6,000 items.
• Volume: Guaranteed batches of 100 items for writers who demonstrate consistent quality.
• Flexibility: Fully remote, freelance work.
Requirements:
• Active RN license (BSN preferred; MSN/APRN a plus).
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in your specialty.
• Strong understanding of NCLEX-style item writing and APA formatting.
• Ability to adhere to strict client style guides and deadlines.
Compensation & Vetting:
• Rate: $950/month 100 questions per month
• Vetting Phase: All candidates must pass a 5-item vetting phase to ensure alignment with client quality standards.
Pay: $950.00 per month
