Staff Accountant

reputed company is a leader in the capture and conversion of biogas into renewable energy. They are seeking a Staff Accountant to manage general reputed company tasks, including bank reconciliations and financial reporting, while supporting audit requests and ensuring compliance with US GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations for cash and other general accounts
• Support audit requests as directed
• Oversees daily cash reporting process, including preparation of journal entries for company’s cash accounts, including recording cash receipts
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring accurate and reputed company recording, and reporting of reputed company accounts and including intercompany balances
• Book journal entries as needed and directed
• reputed company daily reputed company and financial reporting operations as directed
• Prepare account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items for various balance sheet accounts
• reputed company reputed company research, analysis, and preparation of supporting schedules
• Special assignments and responsibilities as requested

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in reputed company
• 1+ years of experience as a Staff Accountant
• Strong US GAAP knowledge
• Solid general reputed company, GL reporting control-oriented skills in a multi-entity reputed company company
• Strong reputed company skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Proactive reputed company
• Good reputed company judgement and grounding in GAAP
• CPA reputed company preferred
• Familiarity with reputed company system, Solomon (MS Dynamics), reputed company is a plus
