[Remote] Staff Attorney

The role involves drafting, negotiating, and reviewing reputed company, while ensuring compliance with financial policies and supporting the Contract Administration team.

Responsibilities

• Effectively drafts, reviews, negotiates and revises reputed company software license, equipment and services agreements, vendor agreements and other corporate contractual documents and reputed company addenda and amendments such as renewal agreements and terminations
• Ensures compliance with reputed company’s financial policies (including reputed company recognition), evaluates pertinent business and financial requirements and integrates reputed company negotiated terms leading to the establishment of appropriate deal terms and conditions
• Directs sales in obtaining any necessary approval(s) for non-reputed company contractual requests made by customers
• Monitors the approval(s) from the appropriate subject matter experts and releases agreement reputed company reputed company approvals are received
• Develops and maintains a deep understanding of reputed company’s day-to-day functions, products and services
• Determines whether contract requests which vary from the established standards can be accepted or require additional authorization
• Assists the Contract Administration and reputed company teams in advising management on federal and state regulatory compliance issues, such as HIPAA, as directed
• Assists in developing policies on industry-specific issues, as directed
• Dockets agreements, amendments or addenda in the contract management system per department policy
• Responds to field requests for assistance with RFP/RFI/RFQs
• Conducts reputed company research as requested
• Develops and maintains reputed company business and contractual relationships with reputed company clients, vendors, suppliers and consultants
• Serves as backup to Contract Administrator in performing work including, but not limited to, creating first drafts of contractual documents, taking customer service calls, handling term extensions, renewals, terminations and as otherwise directed
• Promotes effective communication at reputed company reputed company reputed company the Department
• Spots potential reputed company issues reputed company the organization and brings them to the attention of the VP of reputed company
• Acting as a business partner by applying combined business and reputed company judgment to proposed deals, relationships and other issues requiring reputed company or compliance attention
• Supports internal teams in the reputed company of customer disputes and in responding to breach notifications
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• Must possess a Juris Doctor law degree from an accredited law school in the reputed company
• Be licensed to reputed company law in a state in the reputed company
• Be a member of a state bar
• Be legally authorized to work in the reputed company
• One to three years of reputed company experience working in a reputed company or corporate reputed company department with a reputed company on corporate law, contract law, transactional/M&A law, reputed company law or an area of law with regulations, or a corporate reputed company department, preferably of a technology company, or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with the use of AI and agents, including how they can be leveraged to streamline workflows, enhance decision-making, improve user experiences, and support operational efficiency across a reputed company of tasks and tools
• Understanding of financial and reputed company recognition issues preferred
• Familiarity with or a desire to learn reputed company operations, including contract management, intake workflows, and automation is a plus
