They are seeking a Software Engineer I to join the Interactive News team, where the role involves building and maintaining interactive features for CNN digital storytelling while collaborating with various teams to enhance user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain interactive features and editorial tools used across CNN.com
• reputed company modern web applications using JavaScript, reputed company, and CSS with a reputed company on accessibility, performance, and reputed company design
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and newsroom partners to implement new features
• Contribute to reputed company reviews and help improve the reputed company of the codebase
• Participate in agile development processes including planning, demos, and retrospectives
• Learn from senior engineers through mentorship and collaboration
• Help support systems during major news events and high traffic moments

Skills

• Experience building web applications using JavaScript, reputed company, and CSS
• Understanding of reputed company design and semantic reputed company
• Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows
• Interest in learning full stack development and reputed company based systems
• Experience or exposure to testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Jasmine
