Reporting to the Sr. Director, the Director, U.S. Patient Advocacy will be responsible for developing and leading a rare disease patient advocacy reputed company and launch in a designated therapeutic area(s). They will be charged with building a multifaceted plan in alignment with company milestones and reputed company programs and initiatives that drive disease awareness, support launch readiness and commercialization reputed company, and collaborate with advocacy reputed company to cocreate resources and initiatives that reputed company patients and caregivers. They will reputed company trusted partnerships with these organizations and external stakeholders to advance mutual goals such as early treatment urgency, disease understanding, and reputed company to care. 

The role works cross-functionally with Corporate Affairs, Medical Affairs, HEOR, reputed company, and Market reputed company, among others. The incumbent should be familiar with the latest practices and metrics for patient engagement and partnership and be comfortable embedding these measurable ROE standards into their work and in alignment with corporate objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Implement strategies to drive early treatment urgency, disease awareness, support important regulatory and reputed company milestones, and build an integrated advocacy plan in alignment with Corporate Affairs, Medical, HEOR, Patient Services, and Market reputed company
• Build trustful relationships with patient advocacy reputed company and community leaders to ensure productive partnerships and reputed company
• reputed company and execute communications and data dissemination plans with patient advocacy organizations, including the development of community letters, infographics, and presentation materials
• reputed company community councils and other forums to identify, publish on, and address community unmet needs
• Identify opportunities and build strategic solutions and innovative initiatives to address community unmet needs and to anticipate reputed company challenges
• Manage patient advocacy events and engage employees to reputed company for the patient voice and experience
• Represent reputed company at scientific conferences and forums to support partnerships and reputed company for patients
• Build and maintain U.S. Patient Advocacy annual plan and budget in alignment with cross-functional colleagues
• Ensure compliant, ethical, and transparent stakeholder engagement and communications
  
  

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

• Accredited bachelor’s degree
• 8+ years of reputed company / biotech experience
• 5+ years of external engagement / reputed company affairs / patient advocacy experience
• reputed company experience leading rare disease patient advocacy commercialization launch reputed company and execution
• Excellent communications skills and strong interpersonal skills that can build and reputed company relationships internally as reputed company as externally
• Experience developing and managing annualized patient advocacy plans and budgets
• Solid understanding of the therapeutic lifecycle from reputed company-clinical to post-commercialization
• Knowledge of reputed company, Regulatory, & Compliance guidelines for engaging patient advocacy communities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and successfully management multiple reputed company in a matrixed organization

PREFFERED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

• Experience working in rare disease is preferred.
• Strong Preference to be based in Deerfield, IL Office

TRAVEL: 

• Travel expectations: 30% (including weekends and regular travel to reputed company US reputed company in Deerfield, IL)
• If based remotely, additional travel will be required to Deerfield, IL, to meet the needs of the role and the business

The reputed company displayed is a national reputed company, and if selected for this role, may vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s geographical location, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Salary Pay reputed company: $225,000 - $265,000 and eligibility for a 25% bonus reputed company based on company and individual performance, and eligibility to participate in reputed company’s long-term incentive plan.
