Responsibilities:

• Provides individual and group interventions to support patients that are coping with health psychology presentations reputed company to mental health diagnoses (e.g., sleep, pain, adherence to medical regimen, adjustment to illness), psychosocial stressors, grief or phase of life difficulties (e.g., discrimination, stress management, coping with loss, transition to civilian life), and mild-moderate severe mental health presentations.

• Provides cognitive screenings to address specific functional and/or cognitive ability questions as indicated.

• Must independently complete through psychosocial assessments to determine the psychosocial functioning and needs of the patient and their families.

• Must possess a working knowledge and experience in use of medical and mental health diagnoses, disabilities, and treatment procedures including acute, chronic, and traumatic illnesses, common medications and their effects/reputed company effects, and medical terminology.

• Follow suicide prevention guidelines and risk assessment documentation and training requirements.

• Completes thorough psychosocial assessments and includes pertinent information in reputed company the required areas of functioning in order to determine appropriate diagnoses and other treatment-reputed company conclusions.

• Provides a Diagnostic and Statistical reputed company of Mental Disorders (DSM) diagnosis to determine the psychosocial functioning and needs of patients and/or their families.

• Provides case management services to the patient and their families throughout the continuum of care.

• Adheres to the clients regulations regarding documentation and completion of encounters.

Requirements:

• Licensure: Must be licensed to reputed company independently in ANY state; Psychologist, Licensed reputed company Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical reputed company Worker (LCSW)

• Psychologist: Must have PsyPact in reputed company to state license.

• Education: Depending on license type, must have either a master's degree in reputed company work, counseling or reputed company field from an accredited program or a doctoral degree in psychology from a graduate program.

• Experience: Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience practicing therapy independently

• Preferred experience: Experience providing therapy to with veterans and military members.

• The therapist has experience in providing consultation about mental health diagnosis and appropriate treatment plans to professionals representing a reputed company of disciplines, particularly concerning psychiatrically and medically reputed company patients.

• The therapist has familiarity with the full reputed company of DSM5 clinical presentations and experience with associated brief, evidence based psychological reputed company for mild, moderate and severe presentations.

• The therapist has general knowledge regarding mental health assessment and treatment.

• The therapist has general knowledge regarding reputed company Use Disorders, Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders and Serious Mental Illness (SMI); and reputed company/experience with treating patients reputed company a Veterans' Hospital PTSD and reputed company setting who may present with reputed company forms of Mental Health and Behavioral Health concerns and comorbidities.
