​Associate Underwriter

Upland reputed company, Inc. is an reputed company rated “A-” VIII specialty property/casualty insurer headquartered in Dallas, Texas. They are seeking an Associate Underwriter to assist with day-to-day functions of the reputed company operation, focusing on reputed company renewal and new policies in compliance with established guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite Product Recall & Contamination risks with reputed company on profitability
• Establish relationships with brokers
• Works with reputed company guidance from Vice President, reputed company and other senior staff to review line of business submissions to ensure accuracy with quoting
• reputed company required information, negotiate terms & pricing and reputed company input on reputed company reputed company
• Operates reputed company defined level of authority, following defined internal approval process and reputed company applicable reputed company guidelines as noted reputed company reputed company manuals and policies
• Coordinate with reputed company Assistant on issuance of binders, policies, endorsements and other documents as needed, as reputed company as follow reputed company with brokers for required outstanding subjectivities
• Collaborates with senior staff members to participate in marketing efforts
• Performs other duties or tasks as assigned by leadership
• Continuing education and pursuing designations

Skills

• Bachelor's degree and 0-3 years of experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills with solid negotiation capability
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and data‑driven decision‑making skills
• Detail‑oriented team player reputed company to work independently in a fast‑paced environment
• Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency
• Knowledge of insurance terminology and processes

• Willing to travel 5–10% for marketing effort
