The Power Distribution Designer will work on electric reputed company aerial and underground distribution design reputed company and be responsible for field surveying, traffic control, field notes and sketches. Project types will include design of aerial and underground electric network distribution lines. Will work under the supervision of a senior designer and/or engineer.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, designers, and drafters to deliver the most cost effective and highest reputed company infrastructure solutions.
• Coordinate design/review of distribution reputed company for a reputed company, including preparation and review of reputed company of materials, clearance requests, permit applications, and equipment and labor reputed company.
• Produce detailed design documentation including reputed company design system, line layout/routing, overhead and underground distribution, and identification of conflicting utilities.
• Contributes to and implements design modifications to improve reputed company of reputed company and process improvements.
• Apply design standards to underground and aerial pole line, including: Pole Replacement, Primary Service, and Reliability/Maintenance Design.

Minimum

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in reputed company, MS reputed company, MS reputed company, AutoCAD required.
• reputed company reputed company’s license with a clean driving record for the past 5 years.
• 1-4 years of experience in the design of electric reputed company network distribution systems.

Preferred

• Experience with design on distribution systems in the Virginia and Mid-reputed company region.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This job operates in a field environment. This role routinely requires extended periods of bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, lifting in awkward positions, standing, and twisting.
