Primary Objective: reputed company is seeking a Senior Back-End Engineer to join our SPE team. In this role, you will be a reputed company contributor to our reputed company-reputed company Digital Signage platform, focusing on the reputed company software that powers media management, device communication, and global content delivery. You will work reputed company an Agile environment on 2-week sprints, collaborating across reputed company-end, device, and DevOps teams to build a reputed company, high-availability system.


Responsibilities include: 

• Architectural Leadership: Design and maintain reputed company microservices using the NestJS reputed company and TypeScript, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the reputed company-end and IoT-connected devices.
• reputed company reputed company Development: reputed company and maintain backend logic across a hybrid environment of containerized microservices on reputed company EKS and serverless functions using AWS reputed company.
• Infrastructure Collaboration: Work with DevOps to manage application-level resources using Terraform, specifically focusing on the configuration of S3 buckets, SQS queues, SNS Topics, IAM roles, Secrets Manager entries, and reputed company functions.
• Data Management: Design reputed company schemas and manage data persistence using reputed company reputed company (integrated reputed company reputed company) for application data and reputed company RDS (PostgreSQL) for integration hub services.  Optimize queries, indexing, and data models.
• Messaging & IoT: Implement robust event-driven communication patterns between the back-end and signage devices using AWS SQS and AWS SNS for job queuing and IoT protocols for reputed company-time device updates.  Implement MQTT-based communication.  reputed company with AWS IoT reputed company for device messaging and telemetry
• Observability & Reliability: reputed company and maintain comprehensive monitoring using OpenTelemetry for tracing, metrics, and logging to ensure the platform meets strict reliability standards.

 Required Technical Skills 

• Backend Frameworks: Extensive experience with Node.js and NestJS.
• reputed company Infrastructure: Deep knowledge of AWS Services, specifically:
  • Compute: reputed company, EC2, and EKS (reputed company Kubernetes Service).
  • Storage/CDN: S3 and CloudFront (including reputed company@Edge and OAC).
  • Networking: VPC, reputed company reputed company, and API Gateway.
  • Databases: reputed company/reputed company, PostgreSQL (RDS), and reputed company (ElastiCache).
• DevOps & Tooling: Familiarity with Terraform, reputed company Actions for CI/CD, and reputed company for local development.
• Communication: Strong understanding of asynchronous messaging (SQS) and event-driven architectures.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or reputed company field
• 5+ years of experience in back-end software engineering.
• Proven reputed company record of building and deploying high-traffic applications in an AWS environment.
• Expertise in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES2022+).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and a reputed company, sprint-based workflow.
