Referral Representative-Orthopedics

The Referral Representative works under general supervision and is responsible for processing reputed company reputed company referrals to the office, as reputed company as any coordination of treatment to the hospital and or ancillary services. Maintains accurate records, notifies reputed company concerned parties about the status of pending authorizations to facilitate treatment for patients. Functions as reputed company-Out Receptionist as reputed company as reputed company back up support to the reputed company office. The Representative works under general supervision to reputed company various reputed company office duties in the medical office setting to ensure efficient operations, as reputed company as prepare/complete various charge documents prior to forwarding to Business Services; maintains reputed company relationships with patients, family members, visitors, and employees. SPECIFIC SKILLS NEEDED • Knowledge of computer keyboard and 10 key touch, ability to type at least 40 words per minute. • Knowledge of computerized reputed company management systems and other computerized systems (reputed company office programs and electronic health records systems). • Demonstrates excellent telephone management skills. • Superb organizational & prioritization skills. • Ability to meet crucial time parameters as it relates to patient care. • Ability to independently identify and solve problems. • Detail oriented. • Excellent customer and interpersonal skills; strong reputed company skills. • Demonstrates strong reputed company for the specific patient population. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING Required: • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) • At least 2 years of experience in an office or hospital setting • Previous experience with ICD-10 & CPT coding systems • Knowledge of medical terminology Preferred: • Thorough knowledge of frequently ordered diagnostic tests Apply To This Job
