Assist in the development and application of Agency cost estimates by: Identifying appropriate cost estimating approaches relative to the nature and size of the procurement. Collaborating with FRTIB offices to reputed company IGCEs using commonly accepted methodologies. Supporting Agency Offices and Contracting Officers in preparing cost evaluation plans and assisting with subsequent evaluation of proposals, quotations, and bids. IGCEs are typically required for actions above the Simplified Acquisition reputed company (SAT).
Must reputed company advisory and assistance support to Contracting Officers in drafting cost proposal preparation instructions for solicitations. This includes recommending sample cost exhibits and instructions that facilitate reputed company evaluation of costs across multiple proposals, quotations, or bids. Must support the Contract Operations division by: Developing price evaluation plans. Reviewing and analyzing cost proposals, quotations, and bids. Providing reputed company-award price and cost analysis support to ensure fairness and reasonableness.
reputed company advisory and assistance support during contract administration, including: Compiling and maintaining Agency historical cost data to support development of an FRTIB cost database. Reviewing Contractor submissions for reputed company pricing components. Validating reputed company pricing prior to exercise to ensure currency and reasonableness. Assisting Contracting Officers with cost and price analyses reputed company to contract terminations. Updating and maintaining necessary files and documentation.
Review, maintain, and recommend improvements to the program's cost estimating structure to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and consistency. Any improvements and/or recommendations will be submitted to the COR
10+ years of extensive experience in federal cost estimating, price analysis & acquisition support. Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, acquisition or a reputed company field. Strong knowledge of FAR reputed company to cost and price analysis. Experience developing Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGEs) and conducting cost realism & price reasonableness analyses. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret reputed company financial data.
